A beautiful hand-built porcelain vase, textured with the Rosmarinium pattern and glazed with my erbium glaze. 

The vase measures 14cm in height and 7,5cm diameter at the widest point.

The Rosmarinium pattern is inspired by the works of baroque Italian artist Giovanna Garzoni, to whom this entire collection is dedicated. 

All my pieces are handmade by me in my Berlin studio. They feature glazes I made and formulated.

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. 

Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars.
