Elisabetta Lombardo, the artist behind Mesh & Cloth, explains the idea for the kit: "This year more than any other, I am rediscovering the importance of small gestures. My mother lives in Italy and through we don't often spend Mother's Day together, I usually send her flowers. She loves flowers and taught me as a child how to dry flowers from our garden. We had lines and lines of flowers hanging from shelves all over our kitchen and hallways. This year I will be sending her something a little different and I hope many others will join in! "
