Light and precious. A small pair of porcelain stud earrings, made with erbium stained porcelain. I then added small pieces of cobalt and grey stained porcelain to achieve a delicate marble effect. 

The stud earrings are fixed to titanium posts, which is ideal for sensitive ears.

You will receive the exact ones you see in the photo. 

The earrings measure 1,5cm in diameter.

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface. I also recommend not to shower with your jewellery.

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. 

Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars. We are all  made of stars and your earrings too.
