These statement earrings are handmade with porcelain.  I carefully formed the top piece and glazed it with erbium glaze. The lower piece is glazed with a special speckled glaze I formulated. The hoops are formed by hand with gold filled wire. 

The connecting wire between the pieces is also formed by hand purposefully left so you can see the wire loop around itself. 

You will receive the exact ones you see in the photo. 

The full length of the earrings with hoops is around 9cm. 

These statement earrings come in a beautiful drawstring bag which is then placed in the jewellery box. 

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface. I also recommend not to shower with your jewellery.

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. 

Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars. We are all  made of stars and your earrings too.
