Agrippina (often referred to as Agrippina the Younger), was a Roman empress from 15 to 59AD. She exerted incredible power and influence at a time when women's voices were suppressed. She has been described as ruthless and power-hungry, as many powerful women often are. She orchestrated her son's (Nero) accession to power, and he eventually had her murdered, after she had survived the purposeful capsizing of a boat with her in it and swam to shore. A crater on Venus of 38km in diameter was named after her (see last photo for the actual image of this crater).
This porcelain ring dish is around 10cm in diameter. It was formed entirely by hand and glazed with my matte white and lava glaze, both of which I formulated and created.
