This week I decided that my collection will be released on the first day of summer. It feels fitting for what my collection represents: longing for entertaining, cooking together, dinners under the stars.
My instinct was to call this collection "Patience". Because of the patient waiting until we can actually be together again, because of the slow process in actually making this collection. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It is my first and it is exciting and scary to be jumping with both feet into something I have dreamed of doing for years (literally years). I am learning and growing as an artist and as a business owner, and I have had to be patient with myself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am also deliberately taking my time, because I want to enjoy this part of the process that is still so full of potential. Choosing clay bodies and glazes is taking me time. This photo shows you only a small part of my test tiles. I am building a collection of knowledge at the same as a collection of objects to inspire you. I am learning and growing together with my never-ending array of tests. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I do not know if the collection will be called patience in the end, but I love sharing my process, even the messy part of it.
